Dear friends of Holy Trinity Chico –

Grace to you in the name of our great savior, Jesus! Our look at Ephesians 1:2 last Sunday reminded us that we God—the supremely “blessed One”—pours out his blessings on us in Christ and through His Holy Spirit, giving us everything be need to live lives for him. What a wonderful God we worship! To view the message and notes from last Sunday, you can click here. The recording of the service is available online here.

Tonight our midweek community group meets as usual online from 7 to 8pm, and we’d love to have you join us as we continue to study the Gospel of John together. Here is the link to the meeting.  This is the same link we will use in future weeks so save it somewhere handy.

This coming Sunday, we will again meet at 4pm on Zoom. To join the meeting, click here or on our website. As always, check into the Zoom chat room a little early to get settled. Remember to bring your bible, bread and wine/grape juice for Holy Communion. Our text this week is Eph 1:4—an astonishing verse that talks about God’s choosing of us to be his very own from eternity past.

For those who are interested in memorizing Ephesians 1:3-14, you can find a print out of the passage here (PDF / Word). I suggest you make copies and put them in conspicuous locations (on your fridge, in your car, by your bed, etc.), so you can commit the text to memory and saturate your heart in its truths.

For those of you sending in checks to the church, please send them to: Holy Trinity Church, 1394 Huggins Ave., Chico, CA 95926. Thanks so much. You can still give online, of course, by using our website.

Please remember the Anderson family in your prayers as they deal with COVID while planning for a wedding April 1. Also for Larry and the Ruby family as they grieve deeply yet with great faith. Finally for Danielle’s complete healing.

In Christ’s love –

Tom
