Dear friends of Holy Trinity Chico –

Trinity blessings this fourth week after Trinity Sunday! Our look at Ephesians 1:1-2 last Sunday reminded us that we are God’s hagioi, His “holy ones”. As we learned, this means that He has qualified us, through the work of Christ and the Spirit, to live in His presence forever. What an astonishing comfort that is to us: knowing that, despite our many mistakes and sins, we are made “perfect” once and for all by God’s own doing. Praise Him. To view the message and notes from last Sunday, you can click here. The recording of the service is available online here.

For those of you sending in checks to the church, would you please take note of the following change of address? All checks should be mailed to: Holy Trinity Church, 1394 Huggins Ave., Chico, CA 95926. Thanks so much. You can still give online, of course, by using our website: holytrinitychico.org.

Tonight our midweek community group meets as usual online from 7 to 8pm, and we’d love to have you join us. We are continuing to study the Gospel of John together. Here is the link to the meeting: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83431781341.  This is the same link we will use in future weeks so save it somewhere handy.

This coming Sunday, we will again meet at 4pm on Zoom. To join the meeting, click here or on our website. As always, check into the Zoom chat room a little early to get settled. Remember to bring your bible, bread and wine/grape juice for Holy Communion.

Our first “Take-out, Dine-in” two weeks ago was very special. I hope you sign up for our next one, scheduled for this Wednesday, July 1, in the cafeteria at the Hignell Companies (1750 Humbold Rd.). You can signup on our website at this link. There are only a few spaces left, so be sure to sign up soon!

Please remember the Anderson family in your prayers as they deal with COVID while planning for a wedding in two weeks. Also for Larry and the Ruby family as they grieve deeply yet with great faith. Finally for Danielle’s complete healing.

With you, in Christ –

Tom
