Dear friends of Holy Trinity Chico –

I hope you are enjoying this fall weather as we begin to turn the corner and head into the Advent season. It’s a magical time of year. Let the autumn colors remind you of God’s artistry and lead you into worship.

Last Sunday, Craig did a marvelous job giving us an overview of the last section of Ephesians 2! If you missed the service, you can watch the recording here and access the notes and slides here.

This Sunday, we will take a look at Eph 2:11-13, which reminds us of our situation as Gentiles prior to meeting Christ and the change that Jesus effected for us by bringing us near to him. It’s an encouraging text that highlights the grace and mercy of our grace-giving Father. We meet at 9am at 1595 Arbutus Ave. There are a few parking spaces in the lot on the west side of the building (off 5th) as well as street parking on both Arbutus and 5th Ave. Our COVID safety precautions are given at the bottom of this email.

Just a reminder: there is no community group meeting tonight. We’ll resume next Tuesday, November 17th, from 7-8pm. We’d love to have you join us for prayer, fellowship and bible study! The link for the Zoom meeting is: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87449423015

For those of you unable to make our in-person service, we will be recording it for you so you can watch the recording later in the day. Email me and let me know if you want access to it on Sunday. Greg will send me the link after the service, and I will be happy to forward it to any of you who would like to view it. It will also be posted on our website next Tuesday.

Thank you for your many prayers for the various members of our church! God is answering them in some wonderful ways. Let’s all remember to pray today for our city, state and nation as we hold this important election.

Because of him –

Tom
