Dear friends of Holy Trinity Chico –

If you were able to be with us last Sunday, you had the privilege of sitting under Brent’s teaching! As you could tell, God has given Brent a real gift for explaining the bible in engaging, easy to understand and humorous ways that help us enter into the biblical story. As Brent explained, John the Baptist’s journey from “success” to disillusionment and death to ultimate victory parallels our own stories. God loves us and invites us into a life of meaning and blessing with himself. But this fallen world is filled with trials and suffering. Both these truths must be held in tension if we are to live faith-filled, authentic lives to his glory. If you didn’t make Sunday’s service, make sure you watch it here. There is no outline for the message this week.

This Sunday, we will get back to our exploration of Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. As we start on Chapter Three, Craig will give us an overview of some key themes. You may want to read through the chapter before Sunday to reacquaint yourself with the text. If you are unable to attend our in-person Sunday services, please tune in at 9am using this Zoom link:

The passcode is: 0404. We will also record the service each week, so you can watch the recording after it is posted later in the week, typically Tuesday or Wednesday.
