Dear friends of Holy Trinity Chico –

I pray you are well and encouraged in the Lord this week. As the Apostle John wrote to his friend Gaius, “Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul” (3 Jn 2)!

Last Sunday, we unpacked some of the rich truth found in Eph 4:7-24, in which Paul makes the case that we have been given a new nature at our conversion, one that is like God in “true righteousness and holiness.” Because of this, we are empowered to live distinctly different lives in this world, no longer enslaved to the behaviors of our old lives. It is an extraordinary claim and a great encouragement as we try to “live out our baptism” faithfully each day. If you missed last Sunday, you can play the recording here. The outline and slides can be found here.

This Sunday, Craig will lead us through the next section, Eph 4:25-32, in which Paul outlines specific behaviors, some to avoid, others to practice. We hope you can join us! If you are unable to attend the service in person, please tune in at 9am using this Zoom link.

The passcode is: 0404. We will also record the service, so you can watch the recording after it is posted the following week.

Please be sure to stay for a few minutes after the service to enjoy some coffee, snacks and fellowship out on the lawn. It’s a great chance to make new friends and keep current on old relationships. Thanks once again to the Bishop family for making this fellowship time special.

We have lots of opportunities for you to grow, serve and connect!
